DECEMBER This is my fourth trip to Japan in the past eight years. After recovering from the intensity of designfesta, combined with jet lag, I have spent this week at the Ryokan Shigetsu in traditional, Edo-like, quiet Asakusa. I have revisited some favorite Tokyo places: Harajuku, comme des garcons, Maidsen (for tongetsu) and Honmura An (soba noodles). I am visiting with Karin and Nico, two friends from Paris who now live and work here. You will enjoy visiting Nico's Japan blog. | ||||
