JULY Wish you were here. Last month there were almost 99 irises blooming. The poppies and lupine were short lived by the onset of an hellacious heat wave, but now the hollyhocks - all fifty plus of them are in brilliant bloom. The fragrant tomato plants are thriving and bearing fruit. The cone flowers and lilies have taken hold, and the blueberries, raspberries and blackberries will provide a bumper crop this season. And all this came to be in less than ten years. June Patio Garden
